Jayna Trotzig Memorial Results

The Waterski & Wakeboard Team at Marquette sent nine skiers to the Jayna Trotzig Memorial Tournament this past weekend. The weather was beautiful for skiing and Iowa State University hosted a wonderful tournament. After all the events of the weekend the team ended up placing in sixth overall with nine teams from the Midwest in attendance. Several personal bests occurred this weekend. For the men's team, sophomore Dusty Bodine set a personal best in jump with a leap of 90 feet, he also tricked 660 points and achieved a score of 1 buoy at 36mph 15' off in slalom. Freshman Nick Doyle also jumped a personal best of 51 feet and set a slalom personal best with a score of 3 buoys. Adam Koehler, skiing B-Team, tied the trick record and his trick personal best of 1040 points. On the women's team, sophomore Andrea Tragos set a personal best in jump, flying 41 feet.
